This review concerns the conduct of an employee named Tim. What should have been a simple purchase turned into one of the most uncomfortable retail experiences I’ve had. I was purchasing a clearance grill and had already been approved for a discount by a service manager. When the item was brought down, the box was visibly damaged. Another employee even indicated an additional adjustment would be appropriate. However, at checkout, Tim’s response was aggressive, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. He became confrontational and made it clear that I either accept his terms or he would refuse the sale. The situation escalated unnecessarily, and his attitude made the entire experience uncomfortable. It did not stop there. When I later returned due to the condition of the product, I was approached and questioned by other employees in a way that felt inappropriate, as if I needed to justify a completely valid return. This experience went far beyond a simple customer service issue. It was about conduct, professionalism, and basic respect, and unfortunately, it failed on all three. I do want to recognize someone who completely turned the experience around. Freddie was the star of

Please keep hours on the website up to date. Wasted a lot of time to get here and find out they are closed. Once hours are updated, will gladly give a 5 star review

Website and actual store contents don’t match. I have made several trips in the last few weeks; without finding what the website says they have. If you call ahead to see if an item is available ( which I did) the employee gets their information from the website. When you arrive at the store the item is out of stock (although the website shows it in stock). When you ask for a physical check , you are put on hold and then Home Depot hangs up on you. When I worked for Home Depot (20 yrs ago) it was customer oriented. Now it swims in the stench of POOR MANAGEMENT.
